Multiple Blues Music Award winner and Billboard No. 1 artist Albert Castiglia returns to Buckingham Blues Bar to headline the Backyard Bluesfest.

Known for his powerful guitar work, soulful vocals and high-energy live shows, Castiglia has built a career that stretches back to his years touring with legendary bluesman Junior Wells. His newest album, Grits & Glory, was released in 2026 and continues the mix of blues, rock and roots music that has made him a favorite with audiences around the country.

BIG AL & THE HEAVYWEIGHTS

Also taking the stage are Big Al & The Heavyweights, bringing a mix of Louisiana blues, roots, funk and Gulf Coast rhythm to the Backyard.

Led by drummer and bandleader Al Lauro, the group has built a strong following with a sound rooted in New Orleans, Southern soul and blues.

They bring the kind of energetic, groove-heavy set that makes them a perfect fit for a Backyard Bluesfest.

Opening the day is Tommy Lee Cook & The Buckingham Blues Band, bringing the original music and electric blues that have been part of the foundation of Buckingham Blues Bar for nearly 25 years.

Buckingham Blues Bar has spent 25 years giving Southwest Florida the chance to see nationally touring artists and great original musicians in an intimate setting where the audience is right there with the band.
